I am interested in the intersections between chronic disease, mental health, and social determinants of health, especially the long-term effects of early childhood trauma on health and wellness. I am a mom of two teenagers in the community, and it is a great joy to watch them grow and flourish. I love reading the newspaper (preferably a paper copy) and books about many different subjects.

I believe quality primary care incorporates everything about a person to support their journey to wholeness. Family practice means I get to care for the whole family and patients at all life-stages, in health and when living with illness. Whole-person care means supporting my patient's physical, mental, and emotional health in the context of their families and communities.
