Board of Directors

Community Health Center of Snohomish County (CHC) is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, of which over half are CHC patients. Each member provides valuable insight into how we can best meet our community’s and patients’ needs. 

CHC is accepting applications for new board members!

Are you looking to make a positive impact in our community? CHC is looking for patients and community members to join our board of directors this spring! Ideal candidates are leaders who are ready to advance our mission and create a brighter, healthier future!

 Board Criteria:

  • Current CHC patient or parent/guardian of a minor patient
  • Sign a conflict of interest statement

    Board Commitment:

    • Invest 4–6 hours of time each month
    • Attend monthly meeting on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm (location varies)
    • Participate in annual board retreat- 1 weekend in the spring
    • Attend 1 healthcare governance event, webinar/online training each year
    • Serve a 3-year term commitment

    Jessica Enick, MSIO

    Jessica Enick, MSIO

    Board Chair

    Jessica Enick holds a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (MSIO) which she uses in her work with the Tulalip Tribes. She joined Community Health Center of Snohomish County’s Board of Directors in 2020 because the mission and values of the organization aligned with her own. Jessica is a current patient with previous board experience and wanted to bring her perspective to a foundation that has cores and values which match her own.

    Charles Mister became a member of Community Health Center of Snohomish County’s Board of Directors in 2019. He uses his background and passion in aiding CHC to fulfill its mission by providing policy, financial, and performance oversight as well as strategic planning and direction.

    Olivia Mathisen-Holloman, RDN, CD

    Olivia Mathisen-Holloman, RDN, CD

    Board Secretary

    Olivia Mathisen-Holloman is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and is employed by Kaiser Permanente Medical Foundation, where she has a role as Department Manager of Health Engagement and Wellness for Washington and Colorado. Olivia believes her clinical experience and knowledge give her a unique and supportive perspective as a board member and is honored to have the opportunity to serve the people of Snohomish County and is proud to support an organization that consistently looks for ways to meet the community’s needs. 

    Ed Rogan

    Board Treasurer

    Ed Rogan currently serves as a member of Community Health Center of Snohomish County’s Board of Directors, which he has been part of since 2016. Additionally, Ed is a Partner and Search Practice Leader at The Valtas Group. Ed reflects, “My time with CHC has been the best healthcare experience of my life.” He is a passionate believer in CHC’s work, the services it offers, and the impact it has in our great community.

    Robert “Max” Maxwell

    Robert “Max” Maxwell

    Board Member

    Robert “Max” Maxwell serves on Community Health Center of Snohomish County’s Board of Directors and is a CHC patient. Currently, he serves in the Oregon Primary Care Association. “Board membership provides me with an opportunity to continue to assist in the mission of the community healthcare system in the Northwest. The system exists to provide healthcare for underserved individuals regardless of ability to pay.”

    Gregg Miller, MD

    Gregg Miller is the Chief Medical Officer for Vituity, and joined the Community Health Center of Snohomish County Board of Directors in July of 2023. Gregg is passionate about CHC’s mission to provide our diverse community with access to high-quality, affordable primary healthcare. “I appreciate the opportunity to serve my community and work to make great healthcare available to all.”

    Kathy Solberg

    Board Member

    Kathy Solberg joined the Community Health Center of Snohomish County’s Board of Directors in April 2024. She is the CEO of CommonUnity Consulting, which helps individuals and organizations establish, connect to, build, and sustain their communities. Kathy is a community builder who has served our local community in many vital roles, including Executive Director of Leadership at Snohomish County. “I believe in the mission of CHC and have a personal story of impact. My skills will have a positive impact on furthering the mission and work of the organization.”
